The Federal Polytechnic Nekede biometric capture 2025 2026 exercise has officially been announced for all newly admitted ND I and HND I students of the 2025/2026 academic session.
This biometric registration is a mandatory institutional requirement aimed at verifying student identity and ensuring eligibility for Computer Based Tests (CBT), examinations, and other academic activities within the Polytechnic.
All affected students are expected to comply strictly with the approved schedule as released by the Office of the Registrar.
Venue for the Biometric Exercise
All biometric data capture will take place at the ICT Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri.
Students are advised to arrive early and attend only on their allocated dates to avoid congestion or disqualification.

Documents Required for Biometric Capture
Students must come along with the following:
- Original Admission Letter
- Valid Means of Identification (National ID, Voter’s Card, School ID, etc.)
- Evidence of Payment of Acceptance Fee
Failure to present these documents may result in denial of access to the biometric exercise.
Important Notice to Students
