GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT JAMB 2026

The JAMB 2026 UTME Registration applies to candidates within Nigeria and selected foreign centres. Registration is strictly online and can only be completed at JAMB-accredited CBT centres nationwide.

No private registration. No cyber café registration.

 JAMB 2026 UTME IMPORTANT DATES

  • UTME & Direct Entry Registration Period
  • Monday, 26 January – Saturday, 28 February 2026

UTME Examination Dates

  • 16 April – 25 April 2026
  • Mock UTME Date
  • 28 March 2026

Direct Entry (DE) Registration

  • 2 March – 25 April 2026
  • Sales of UTME E-PIN
  • 19 January – 26 February 2026

JAMB 2026 UTME ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

UTME Candidates

  • Must be 16 years old by 30 September 2026
  • Candidates below 16 may register but will not be admitted
  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

  • ND, NCE, IJMB, NABTEB, HND, or Degree holders
  • All DE candidates must register through JAMB

JAMB 2026 REGISTRATION FEES (OFFICIAL)

Total Cost

  • UTME without Mock: ₦7,200
  • UTME with Mock: ₦8,700
  • Direct Entry E-PIN: ₦5,700

Fee Breakdown

  • UTME Application Fee – ₦3,500
  • Reading Text – ₦1,000
  • CBT Registration – ₦700
  • Optional Mock – ₦1,500
  • Bank Charges – ₦500
  • CBT Centre Service – ₦1,500

No cash payment is allowed at CBT centres.

JAMB PROFILE CREATION & E-PIN PROCESS

  • To participate in JAMB 2026 UTME Registration, candidates must:
  • Create a JAMB profile using their personal phone number
  • Send “NIN” to 55019 or 66019

Receive a Profile Code

Purchase E-PIN from approved banks or online platforms

BIOMETRIC CAPTURE & REGISTRATION RULES

  • Ten fingerprints and facial capture are mandatory
  • Registration must be individual
  • Biometric verification is required on exam day
  • Any biometric mismatch = automatic disqualification

JAMB 2026 UTME EXAMINATION DETAILS

  • UTME will be Computer-Based (CBT)
  • Candidates must print exam slips with date, time & venue
  • No change of exam centre after registration

MOCK UTME (OPTIONAL BUT SMART)
