Official Notice from the Registrar
The management of Rivers State University (RSU) has officially announced the commencement of academic activities for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, academic activities will begin on Monday, 3rd November 2025, while the hostels will be opened on Sunday, 2nd November 2025 for duly registered students to sign in.
Accommodation & Student Advisory
All students are advised to pay their school fees and accommodation fees promptly in order to secure bed spaces ahead of resumption.
As part of preparations for the new academic session, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, on Friday, 24th October 2025, inaugurated Hall Wardens and charged them to maintain discipline in the hostels.
Students are reminded to avoid selling or transferring bed spaces, as anyone found guilty will face disciplinary measures.

The University Management emphasizes that all students must comply fully with these directives to ensure a smooth start of the academic session.
